You may be on the slopes
during the day in La Tania but
you're going to need
something to do at night aside
from stay in your chalet. La
Tania will be easier to navigate at night with this list of the
best places to eat and drink so
you can make the rounds in
the smartest way possible.
You're only in this delightful
little resort for so long so you want to make the most of
every minute! These tips will
help you do that.
Pub Le Ski Lodge really is the
place to be when you're in the
resort. It is the main
"happening" place and offers
you everything you could ask
for from an entertainment venue. The drinks are always
flowing and there is a wide
variety of specials for you to
try out while you are there.
Come on the right night and
you will be able to catch a number of bands to help you
rock out long into the night.
This bar also features live
sporting events on satellite TV
so that you don't have to miss
a thing while you're on your ski holiday.
If the previous place sounded
like it might be a bit too rowdy
for your tastes, then consider
stopping by La Taiga after you
leave your chalet. La Tania
locals say that this bar tends to serve a slightly older and more
sophisticated group of patrons
- so if that sounds more your
style, come on down! La Taiga
features leather sofas, glass
tables, and a cozy fire along with their cocktails. But stylish
and sophisticated doesn't have
to read boring! With occasional
live bands and party nights the
place can get pretty
rambunctious too. As an added perk, the food this venue
serves up is top notch.

When Did AdvertisingBecome Entertainment?
I must have missed the memo.
When did it become
mandatory to entertain people
with advertising? Aren't there
enough lame sitcoms out there
to watch? I guess I'm too old school. I come from a
background where advertising
was educational,
informational, and about
brand identity. As an informed
consumer I would like to know more about the product
and be less entertained.
Watching cute little 3D
animated characters hit on
each other doesn't give me the
information I need to make an informed decision. Apparently
though, some consumers
would rather be entertained
than informed or educated.
Have we really sunk that low?
Really?
How can you expect potential
customers to buy your product
if they don't know anything
about it? Shouldn't you tell
them what makes your
product superior to your competitors? Shouldn't you tell
them the value added they
receive by buying your
product over someone else's?
Maybe it's better that a cute
little squirrel chases after an acorn tumbling down a hill.
What the hell does that have to
do with your product?
Advertising that doesn't
educate doesn't attract
customers. It might entertain them for a few seconds and
then they are on to the next
entertaining commercial.
So you're having a big sale
next week and you decide that
the squirrel chasing an acorn is
so entertaining that you build
your advertising campaign
around it and run an ad featuring him next week to
promote your sale. However
the squirrel fails to tell your
potential customers the
location, store hours, and limits
of the sale. Nobody shows up, but be assured they were
entertained. Advertising
should inform your customers
of not only who you are and
what you sell but also inform
them about your promotions, your sales, and your special
offers and coupons.

Transform Your Space of Entertainment Into Something Beautiful
The dining room has always
been a brilliant place to
entertain your loved ones.
Whether it is spending those
special occasions with family
or just dinner parties with friends, it is important to
beautifully furnish a room you
spend a lot of time in. French
furniture is an easy and stylish
way to create a wonderful
setting in one of your favourite spaces. This article makes
references to the types of
French dining room furniture
and what looks best in homes
today.
French dining room furniture
doesn't have to be something
that takes careful planning,
rather the beauty of French
design allows for a range of
styles to be mixed and matched creating something
truly stunning. Try creating the
shabby chic look in your
dining room, this can look
amazing when finished and
will shine throughout your entire home. Tables with soft
colour schemes such as antique
white, cream or stonewashed
grey are ideal and commonly
feature exquisite carved
detailing that can vary from the elaborate to subtle.
Depending on personal
preference you can decide to
pair your new table with
similar styled chairs or try
matching with completely different ones. As long as the
colours are soft and the
distressed finish is similar you
cannot go wrong!
French sideboards make
excellent additions to an
already flourishing dining
room. Quaint and plainly
designed pieces work very
well with interiors that aspire towards a more simplistic
edge. Pieces with standard two
over two cupboard
arrangements are lovely in a
busy room; shades of aqua or
stone are particularly stylish. For those with an eye for
vibrancy opt for the more
luxurious side of French
design. French sideboards can
make brilliant centrepieces due
to being widely available in colours such as orange, red
and even pink! The ability to
customise pieces such as these
is usually on offer and can
allow for your own
personalised touch to shine through.

Luxurious Shopping and Entertainment at a Resort Mall
Part of the fun of shopping is
the ambience and atmosphere
of the place. In this respect a
resort mall can be a great place
for shopping and fun. An
average shopping mall just offers a glittering array of
shops selling a huge number of
products and of course a
section devoted to food. There
was a time when this used to
be special enough. With the advent of a resort mall this has
now become something very
commonplace.
As the name itself suggests a
resort mall offers a lot more
than just shopping
comfortably with all major
brands available in one
building. This is a relatively new concept that offers a
unique shopping experience
along with a touch of natural
beauty. With a vast area
devoted to just lush greenery,
you have a place that is ideal for an outing with the whole
family.
It often happens when you go
shopping your kids are
enthusiastic only till you buy
something for them. The rest
of the time they just tag along
with a bored expression. A resort mall has so many
avenues for entertainment that
the chances are that they
would not want to come home
when your shopping is over.
Most probably they would be planning the next trip there
even as they come out of the
place.
There is so much to enjoy at a
resort mall other than
shopping. There are huge
gardens to simply relax and
drink in natural beauty along
with fountains and soothing water shows. Then you have
theater, fashion shows,
cinema, karaoke, bowling
alleys, skating, you name it, it
is there. In fact there is enough
to keep everyone busy the whole day. With such a wide
range of activities available for
all age groups, what you have
is not a mere shopping mall
but a place for relaxation
where the whole family can go together. A simple shopping
trip can actually become a
picnic for the day.

Why Singing Waiters MakeIdeal Event Entertainment
When planning an event,
naturally you want your
celebration to be unique and of
course you want to make it a
night to remember for all your
guests. From conception to execution every detail is
important; the right venue, the
perfect theme and of course,
the best entertainment.
When it comes to making a
good impression, the perfect
entertainment will play a huge
part. Whether you book a
musical act or another type of
entertainment, you'll be looking for professionals that
are well suited to your guests,
fit the style of your event and
are of the highest artistic
standard.
Surprise Singing Waiters or an
Opera Singing Chef can be a
very impressive way of
entertaining your guests that is
both fun and stylish. Singing
waiters are professional singers; often with
international profiles who will
have headlined in opera
houses and music theatres
around the world. Such
talented and seasoned artists will be guaranteed to be a
highlight of your celebration
when they drop their disguises
and start to sing.
Most acts have a fun
presentation with a broad
appeal. They will perform a
wide range of musical styles,
not just opera. Many have a
fixed show others will build a repertoire that will work for
just about any occasion:
Charity fundraising, weddings,
birthdays, Corporate functions
to name just a few.

Choosing the Best Entertainment for Your Event
The type of event you are
holding will greatly influence
what entertainment you
should hire. Whether it be a
formal corporate function, a
wedding, a 21st birthday, a family reunion or a fund raiser,
you need to choose the right
entertainment to suit the
personalities of your guests
and also the occasion. You may
choose to organise the whole event yourself, including hiring
the venue, choosing the food
and booking the
entertainment, or you may
prefer to contact a party hire
company and get them to handle everything. Whatever
you choose the entertainment
still needs careful
consideration.
For a formal event, whether it
be a black tie dinner or
business orientated do, suitable
entertainment needs to be
arranged that is more on the
conservative side. Having a roving belly dancer would not
be appropriate, nor would a
heavy metal rock band. You
may choose to start the
evening with drinks in a
separate foyer and have a string quartet playing or an A
Capella group singing. Your
entertainment could also be in
the form of ice sculptures
which are positioned around
the venue and are carved into shapes that best represent the
evening or the company.
Themed events could range
from an elegant formal
evening, to a casual party, or
day time get together. Themes
are great to work to when you
are planning an event because you can link everything in,
from costumes, food,
decorations and also your
entertainment. For a corporate
gathering you might choose a
masquerade ball or an Arabian Nights theme. This is where
hiring a belly dancer to
entertain guests is appropriate,
even if it's a more formal
occasion, it is acceptable within
the theme. Themes open the doors to a huge range of
entertainment ideas, limited
only by your creativity. Choirs,
face painters, story tellers,
dancers, bands, puppeteers,
artists or even a fire eater. The event could become quite a
spectacle if you have the right
theme to work with.

Specialised Services - TheBenefits of Using an Entertainment
If you work within the music
industry, hiring the specialised
services of a niche
entertainment accountant can
really help you to keep control
of your money and build on your success. While it's
certainly true that any generic
accountant could help you
with your bookkeeping and
tax returns, in this day of
specialists and niche services, it makes sense to use somebody
who really understands what
you do and the bearing this
can have on your finances.
Whatever part of the industry
you work in, whether you're
famous musician, an emerging
artist, or a freelancer who
works behind the scenes, a
music accountant will have the firsthand knowledge that's
required in order to identify
the best tax breaks and the
best ways to limit your liability
to HMRC, subsequently saving
you money and helping you to keep a more healthy
percentage of your sales and
profits.
Another benefit of using a
specialist entertainment
accountant is the fact that they
can help you to keep up with
changes that may affect your
industry. Consumer habits are forever on the move,
especially in the new digital
age where profits can be
generated via the Internet as
opposed to more traditional,
physical sales - these things can have a considerable impact on
the way you manage your
finances and ensure
compliance. What's more, your
entertainment or music
accountant will always have a real time record of exactly
where you stand financially, so
you'll always know what
you've got to play with and
what tax you're going to have
to pay at the end of the year.
